InventHelp Inventor Develops Outdoor Potty Area for Dogs (LGI-2553)

PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — “I always had small dogs that went to the bathroom indoors on pads on the floor,” said one of two inventors from East Hampton, N.Y. “Now I have a large dog, and I need to let him out to go to the bathroom. I came up with this idea as a designated area for a pet to go to the bathroom outdoors.”

They created a prototype for the POTTY PEN to serve as a designated potty area outside the home. The unit maintains sanitary conditions in the yard by confining pet waste to one area. The design allows for quick and easy cleanup. The device trains dogs to go to the bathroom outdoors in a specific spot. It prevents urine spots from staining the lawn. Additionally, the invention features a decorative design that does not detract from the look of the yard.

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
